We can do no great things – only small things with great love.

A Saturday well spent, making the trek to Sea View Stables to hand over the proceeds of The Profanity Jar to the NGO, Horses Helping Humans (HHH). Thank you to all our Veg Out customers (and staff!!) who were obliged to contribute to the jar after using swear words in the shop….and of course those of you who willingly contributed. It is said that we make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.

At Veg Out we love to say that our customers are our friends so that much of what we do is not on social media, but organizations such as HHH need support and must be highlighted (see Daily Express article below). Whilst Trinis love to ‘party’ and have a good time, perhaps in these times when there are so many social ills and not enough funding to correct these ills, maybe The University of The West Indies can lead the way by diverting some entertainment funds to this NGO…..or maybe The Student Guild can step up to this challenge?
